| Besides playing on various festivals during the year 2005 all [re:jazz] members
have been quite busy during the year. The Matthias Vogt Trio � the [re:jazz]
nucleus � have been recording their first album "Changing Colours"
with own compositions which will be released on INFRACom!
on 27 February. This is not just the trio of another jazz pianist � Matthias
Vogt is a jazz pianist, DJ, songwriter and producer of electronic music. His three musical
poles are Motorcitysoul for the electronic branch of his work, [re:jazz]
� the mediating musical link between the worlds of electronic and acoustic
jazz, and last but by no means least the "Matthias Vogt Trio"
� the germ cell of [re:jazz] and the muscial jazz playground of the versatile
and busy musician. On bass and drums appear his longterm musical companions
Andreas Manns and Volker Schmidt. They accompany Matthias breathing and
subtle play in a congenial way. The Matthias Vogt Trio's music is self-contained,
reduced, contemplating, cheerful and emotional. Modern in every sense.Check
